I saw this picture floating around the internet a few days ago. But I wasn’t sure exactly what it was related to. Well now I know. Thanks to modelbuilingsecrets.com.
It is the first picture of the new Lord of the Rings Hobbit minifigures.
Now, we have already seen Gandalf in the Gandalf Arrives set. But this is the first we have seen of the Dwarves and of Bilbo Baggins. The dwarves are: Dwalin, Bombur, Bofur, and Balin.
I’m not sure if these are all from the same set, or if they are pulled from different sets. The only real info pertaining to these figures is that they are going to be released on December 1st. Which is just in time for the release of the Hobbit movie on December 14.
This just makes me all the more excited to see more Lord of The Rings sets and minifigs at comic con. I love all of the sets and minifigs that have come out so far. Even if I am slightly disappointed with the look of Gandalf. I personally would like to see a Tom Bombadil figure. I don’t know why, but I always loved this character from the book.
That’s all the news for now. I know I have been slow to post over the last week or so and I probably won’t post again until Thursday night at the earliest. But, I am going to the first day of comic-con and I hope to have a lot of Lego related and maybe even some non-Lego related stuff to share after that.
