Series 8 is almost here. They are going to be available in September and the figs in the series are:

Football Player
Trader
Personally, I’m looking forward to the Pirate Captain the most. But, that’s mostly because I love pirates. That and i’m glad to finally have something besides the flat grey cutlasses that all the pirates minifigs come with. (Even the Pirates of the Carribean figs).
Other than that, the line is starting to become a little stagnant. Another skier? Another cheerleader? It does have some figs that I think will be desireable like the the Female alien, the conquistador, and the diver. But most of the figures are a little bit ho-hum
As for accessories, we get another food item: The pretzel. We also get what looks to be a different trophy sculpt. The only other new accessory that I can see is Santa’s sack. I think that this will probably be the most popular accessory since I can see people using it for robbers and such for their MOCs.
